With the continual expansion and content development of the Perinatal Training Programme (PTP), K2 are delighted that the sales of this award winning training system continue to soar and the UK’s most comprehensive fetal monitoring and maternity crisis management training system is continuing to benefit increasingly more clinicians across the UK, as well as internationally.

With over 200,000 users already registered across the globe, K2 are thrilled to welcome five new hospitals in the UK who are already live and experiencing the advantages that this award-winning online training system brings.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust incorporates two maternity hospitals. Queen Charlotte & Chelsea Hospital, the oldest maternity unit in the UK, and St Mary’s Hospital, which first opened its doors to patients in 1851, provide exceptional care to women and babies from across London and beyond.  K2 are proud to have these prestigious hospitals on board and welcome them as they start their PTP journey.

Royal Stoke Hospital, part of the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, is a large maternity unit seeing over 6500 babies born each year.  Having achieved the highest possible CNST safety standard rating, as well as being recognised as a UNICEF ‘Baby Friendly’ accredited hospital, K2 are delighted that they have chosen the PTP to help maintain their exceptionally high standards in maternity care.

K2 are also thrilled to welcome Colchester General Hospital, managed by the newly formed East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust and which sees over 3000 births a year, and Ormskirk and District General Hospital, who are enjoying the benefits of a purpose built delivery suite to help with the 2500 babies born there each year.  It is fantastic to have these two dedicated and hardworking district hospitals on board, and K2 look forward to working with them to assist in their learning journey as they work through the PTP.

With 14 comprehensive chapters, Learning Pathways which can be tailored for staff, CTG training simulator and new Competency Assessment Tool, as well as the option for the latest NICE 2017 and FIGO guidelines, the PTP is so much more than just CTG training.  Fully addressing the very latest guidelines and care bundles, K2 guarantee that the PTP is the most up-to-date and comprehensive training system available in the UK today.
