For nearly 30 years K2 has developed ground-breaking products to further the skills, facilities and innovations within maternity care.  With each passing year K2 goes from strength to strength and it was with great delight and satisfaction that 2018 proved to be the busiest yet for K2.  With ever expanding sales of the PTP, system enhancements for existing customers, Athena go-lives, as well as 14 new hospitals going live with K2 Guardian, last year was a huge success and K2 are immensely proud that a staggering 90 hospitals throughout the UK and Australia are now live with K2 Guardian.

Guardian has seen a steady increase in sales since its arrival on the market in 2004 and has become one of K2’s flagship products. Capturing the full electronic clinical record during childbirth, as well as providing a complete monitoring solution for labour and delivery, Guardian is a fully paperless intrapartum system that captures all patient data contemporaneously and at the point of care on a single, seamless database.  It is a risk management solution offering exceptional efficiency, compatibility, accessibility and traceability, and is an essential system for improving access to information, supporting clinicians and healthcare professionals, as well as being crucial for senior oversight, enhanced communication and increasing patient safety.

With such comprehensive benefits and exceptional clinical utility, it is no wonder that Guardian has become a market leader in its field.  And with an increasing portfolio of pioneering resources covering a wide breadth of service and integration within maternity care, K2 is proud to have an extensive, passionate and growing customer base across the globe who continue to support and inspire the development of K2’s innovative and ground-breaking products.

With even more product enhancements, new developments and exciting go-lives coming up, K2 fully expect 2019 to be as successful as the previous year.  K2 look forward to the coming months and furthering relationships with hospitals and clinicians across the globe who all share in K2’s vision and mission to improve maternity care for all.
