K2 are truly delighted that the benefits of the Perinatal Training Programme will soon be shared with hospitals in South Africa, as K2 signs an agreement for a sole distributor to promote and supply K2 products in South Africa and beyond.
Christopher Kirkman and his team based in Cape Town, South Africa, have joined the extended K2 family as sole exclusive agents for the distribution of K2 products in South Africa and neighbouring countries. Already working extensively in hospitals across the region, Christopher and his colleagues are excited to be promoting the extensive benefits of the award-winning PTP, and are currently working closely with Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town to ensure the safe installation of the PTP to further the knowledge and test the skills of clinicians at this prestigious teaching hospital.
With over 1300 beds, and overseeing 10,000 births a year within the hospital and surrounding metropolitan area, Tygerberg is one of the largest hospitals in the Western Cape and the second largest hospital in South Africa. With a mission to provide quality healthcare, as well as world-class education and research opportunities, Tygerberg is working hard to address the serious levels of poor birth outcomes seen within South Africa. K2 is proud to be able to support this prestigious hospital in their mission and to assist with the education and awareness of all aspects of fetal monitoring and maternity crisis management during labour.
On working with K2 and promoting the PTP, Christopher said, “I am extremely excited to partner with K2 and believe the online perinatal training programme is the ideal solution for the South African environment.”
K2 very much look forward to working with Christopher and his team and are excited to watch the expansion of the Perinatal Training Programme across South Africa. With the PTP going from strength to strength, and benefiting from continual development and enhancement, K2 are delighted to be able to work with Christopher and are dedicated to supporting clinicians across the region in their aim to improve knowledge and improve outcomes for mothers and babies.
